The organization's actions are taken in protest of teachers' salaries. "We will not stop until the salary of teachers starting in secondary education is at least 12,000 shekels, and the salary of veteran teachers rises accordingly," said Chairman Ran Erez. "We will not give a hand to the continued humiliation of secondary education teachers in Israel."

The teachers' organization announced this morning (Friday) that classes in grades 10 and above will open on Sunday at 12:00.
