Fürth/ Erlangen – On Wednesday evening, March 15th, there was a serious traffic accident on the Stadelner Hauptstraße between Fürth and Erlangen.
Two people suffered serious injuries.
A dog escaped from the driver's vehicle.
At around 5:50 p.m., the truck was traveling on the Stadelner Hauptstrasse from Erlangen-Eltersdorf in the direction of Fürth.
For reasons that have not yet been clarified, he got into the oncoming lane and collided with an oncoming Alfa Romeo.
The force of the impact caused the truck to spin, leave the roadway and tip over.

Firefighters had to free the trapped truck driver
Both parties involved suffered serious injuries in the accident.
The truck driver was trapped in his vehicle and had to be freed by the fire department.
After the first medical care, the paramedics took the injured to the surrounding hospitals.
A police dog handler took care of the driver's golden retriever, who was not allowed to go to the hospital.
After the accident, the animal had escaped from the rubble and ran away.
The policeman was able to catch and calm the panicked dog again.
The traffic police in Fürth recorded the accident.
An expert supported the officials to clarify the exact cause of the accident.
Numerous forces from the surrounding fire brigades were at the scene.
The Stadelner Hauptstrasse was closed to traffic in the affected area until the end of the traffic accident recording.
