After a final of more than 7 hours, the former candidate of "Koh-Lanta" won on the night of Thursday to Friday at the Marrakech Poker Open 2023 and won the sum of 60,000 euros.

In November 2012,

Moundir Zoughari

invited us to come and interview him as part of the Cercle Clichy-Montmartre, in the 9th arrondissement of Paris.

It was in this legendary gambling venue, which became Club Montmartre in 2019, that the man who had just married his wife Inès told us about his passion for poker.

"I've been playing for more than a year and a half, but it's been nine months since I've been fully into it

," he told us at the time.

I like the emotions that this game provides. I don't know if I'm a good player but, in any case, I do everything to try to be one by listening to others.

Over the past ten years, Moundir has humbly learned the ropes of this card game combining reflection, strategy and probability management.

Since 2014, he has worked with the Winamax teams.

“I learned the rules in five minutes watching professionals play on TV.

I was fascinated by their attitude, their attire.

There was something very theatrical and psychological

, ”he told us in 2019 in the long portrait that we dedicated to him.

“The people connotation is not well seen in this environment so I worked with professionals to become a serious, credible and respected player.

It is my other passion, my job as an ambassador of popular and amateur poker that I owe to my encounters with Ziad Farhoud and Pascal Rolin.

For five years, thanks to the bosses of Winamax and Laurence Duplessis, I have been living an exceptional adventure.
