The members of the CSU Geretsried are on average 60 years old.

The re-elected local chairman Martin Huber is too high.

Geretsried – The CSU local association currently has 122 members.

The average age is around 60 years.

"Too high," says Chairman Martin Huber.

After his re-election, the 39-year-old Geltinger city councilor wishes for a rejuvenation course in the small council chamber.

"We need young people who get involved locally and not just on social media."

The monthly Sunday round tables of the local association, which usually take place in the Gasthof Geiger, offer an opportunity to exchange ideas.

Huber referred to well-attended discussion rounds on current topics such as the planned construction of a geothermal district heating network.

Before the new elections, Mayor Michael Müller reported on current infrastructure projects.

"You can already see how well the T-Zone works in the city center," said the mayor.

This is how he justified the opening of the Aldi market in the new BGZ2.

It is a nationwide trend that grocery stores are moving into the city centres, while textile and shoe shops are now settling on the outskirts.

Now that the "hardware" is available, it is important to "continue to use the new center".

In addition, Müller would like to see a revival in the shops around the Sudetenstrasse.

Based on a needs analysis, the city administration is currently determining which measures are to be introduced.

The mayor, on the other hand, described the development in Stein as a “serious challenge”.

After Müller's speech, Kochler's direct candidate for the state parliament, Thomas Holz, and Krün's mayor and district councilor, Thomas Schwarzenberger, campaigned for their goals.

Holz again sharply criticized the policy of the traffic light coalition, which unsettles the citizens in the long term.

The desired electoral law reform is aimed at pushing the CSU out of the Bundestag and is a "mess beyond compare".

At the municipal level, the CSU district chairman and deputy district administrator wants to work to strengthen rural areas and secure the location of the district clinic in Wolfratshausen.

Finally, Thomas Schwarzenberger emphasized the often underestimated importance of the Upper Bavarian District Assembly, which primarily promotes vocational training for disabled people and local care for the mentally ill.

There were no surprises in the votes carried out by election officer Thomas Holz.

27 of the 30 members present gave their vote to the CSU local association chairman Martin Huber.

He is supported by his three deputies, Dr.

Sabine Gus-Mayer, Andreas Rottmüller and Marion Wedershoven.

Treasurer Thomas Schmid and secretary Gabrijela Huber are new in office.

Sascha Ernstberger remains digital officer.

Rejnhold Mayer and Franz Wirtensohn continue to check the cash register.
