For the lawyer of Ramón Díaz's son, 'aquaplaning' was the cause of the fatal crash

The investigation into the road accident involving the

, Michael (37), in which his wife Bárbara Oliver (32) and the driver with whom he collided, former volunteer firefighter Aldo Flaqué (67), died, still he was unable to answer why the defendant crossed lanes.

But for the former footballer's lawyer there was a specific cause:

Aquaplaning (most commonly called "toad") occurs when the deck encounters more water than it is capable of displacing.

The water pressure in front lifts the wheel off the pavement, which decreases or nullifies friction and also decreases control and braking ability. 

Cúneo Libarona adds: "As a consequence of the rain,

. It ends up colliding with the other man."

Michael had made

Both Ramón Díaz and his wife Mirta Silvia Riedel arrived this Wednesday from Saudi Arabia to accompany their son and grandson.

The child was left in the care of his grandmother.
