A 30-year-old man was arrested tonight (Saturday) in Tel Aviv, after he threatened with a weapon those present at a club on Kibbutz Galuyot Street in the city.
He was handed over to the police for investigation.
The policemen who arrived at the scene following the report, took control of the suspect, a resident of Holon, who was under the influence of alcohol and threatened those around him with an improvised "Carlo" type submachine gun.
An initial investigation revealed that the suspect was removed from the club on the spot by the security guards, and returned to the entrance of the club armed.
The suspect was arrested and handed over for questioning.
