With a generation change on the board, the CSU in Tutzing is sending a signal.

She has not yet named a mayoral candidate.

After difficult times, members urgently plead for cohesion.

Tutzing – There is a generation change at the CSU local branch in Tutzing.

The only 26-year-old Ludwig Horn was elected the new local chairman at a general meeting in Midgardstadl on Thursday.

He succeeds Thomas Parstorfer, who was at the helm for ten years and a member of the board for 15 years.

Horn, Vice Chairman since 2019, was elected with a large majority, there were 28 votes for him, one was invalid.

The board of directors was also largely reorganized and filled with younger people.

As before, Rolf Bäck and now Johanna Pfänder are the deputy chairmen, treasurer is Karten Thost (31), secretary David Becker-Vogt (27), digital officer Alberto Mader (29).

Stefanie von Winning, Rolf Wünsch, Rainer Jörg Hoegg, Florian Schotter, Markus Scholz, Sabrina Lanzl, Thomas Parstorfer and Günter Hill, auditors Reinhard Frömel and Karl-Heinz Kriesler became assessors.

Horn thanked Parstorfer for his work.

He has significantly increased the number of members and is "the absolute top recruiter in the CSU".

It was a great honor for him, said Horn, that he had been nominated for the presidency.

He grew up in Tutzing, where he says he has his roots and is active in many clubs.

He has been a municipal and district councilor since 2020.

There has been repeated speculation about Horn's candidacy for mayor in the upcoming elections in November, but at least that wasn't an issue publicly at the meeting.

Horn pleaded for cooperation between the generations, from climate protection to local development.

He sees the CSU in a good position: it has the oldest and the youngest municipal council, entrepreneurs are represented as well as civil servants, master craftsmen as well as doctors.

Parstorfer made no secret of his disappointment at the last three Tutzing mayoral elections lost to the CSU.

He also blamed a split in the local association, which had already gone into the 2008 election campaign “divided”.

He bitterly recalled quarrels and the resignation of the entire board at the time.

He tried to pacify the group and make it "one" team again.

"That was largely successful," he said, "but there were always pullers." That had exactly the opposite effect: "That we still don't have a mayor." Parstorfer admitted that he also made mistakes himself.

So he's sorry that the CSU has lost former members, according to Claus Piesch and Conny Schuster.

Parstorfer urgently appealed to all members, including those of the Tutzinger Seniors' Union,

Thomas von Mitschke-Collande thanked Parstorfer for his work as chairman.

In the various election campaigns, the Tutzinger CSU also blew against the wind from Berlin and Munich: "We managed it very well." The election results in the municipal council were always average, there were never outliers downwards.

Parstorfer honored a number of members for long-standing party membership: Ursula Bauer, Hubert Hupfauf, Dr.

Alfred Leclaire, Heinz-Klaus Mertes (for 55 years), Wolfgang Herbststreit, Erich Hupfauf, Peter Kremer, Peter Lanio, Dr.

Albrecht Ulrich (50), Heinz Leitner, Heinrich Michel (40), Renate Leitner, Christine Pisarek, Christoph Pisarek (30), Armin Heil, Reiner Jörg Hoegg, Reinhard Frömel, Dr.

Thomas von Mitschke-Collande, Stefan Pelkofer, Hans Spitzer, Jürgen Wunsch and Rosemarie Wunsch (20).
