The widow of the businessman confided in an interview granted to Audrey Crespo-Mara in the portrait of the week of "Seven to eight".
Disappeared as a result of his cancer, Bernard Tapie left behind him a great absence but also a colossal debt: 647 million euros.
Since then, Dominique Tapie has had to leave their mansion located at 52 rue des Saints-Pères in the 7th arrondissement of Paris and all his belongings have been seized, including their house in Seine-et-Marne in which they had suffered an assault a few months before her husband's death.

In an interview given before his death, Bernard Tapie explained that he was worried about leaving without having sheltered his wife.
