After hundreds of reservists in the special operations system announced that they would stop reporting due to the legal revolution, one of its leaders told Walla!. One of the leaders of the struggle of the reservists in the legal revolution said today (Sunday) that the decision of hundreds of members of the special operations team to stop reporting was made because "they put a gun to the temple of democracy".

This is after this morning about 650 reservists from the special operations and offensive cyber units announced that starting today they will not come to service in the reserves.

According to him, the next step is not only participating in a huge demonstration of reservists, but checking out equipment in front of the cameras.

"It will be a symbolic detail, but unfortunately necessary. What is sad is that the IDF is conducting business as usual.

I understand them.

I feel their pain but that's really not the case.

The next step is for permanent servants to join us."

At the same time, 180 active reserve aircrew members, more than 50 controllers and about 40 KAT operators announced during the weekend in their units that in the coming week they will devote most of their time to the call for negotiations and the defense of democracy - and in light of this they will not show up for training while they continue operational activities. It is also claimed that even among the pilots in regular service, an internal and unofficial discussion has begun about joining the protests, as soon as the legislation reaches its third reading. The

next two weeks are critical in terms of the regime revolution. "For me, active steps to stop the unilateral process are where my contribution to the country and its security is maximum.

That's why I won't come to the squadron this week and will take part in the protest, including traveling to the Knesset for personal meetings with MKs," wrote one of the reservists.

The coalition will continue promoting the legal reform legislation this week.

The Constitution Committee will convene for a marathon of debates that will deal with the proposal to change the composition of the Committee for the Selection of Judges so that the coalition will have a majority in it and the proposal to cancel the possibility of the High Court of Justice to intervene or invalidate fundamental laws enacted by the Knesset. Both proposals will be brought to preparation for a second and third reading and so far they have not undergone any changes in the wording

. The coalition is interested in softening the reform, but a final agreement on such a wording has not yet been reached. The coalition's timetable is structured according to a plan in which these two sections will be approved in three readings by the end of the Knesset's winter conference in two weeks. It is estimated that other sections of the reform such as the clause of surrogacy or the elimination of the probable cause Will be postponed after the break or to another date Likud yesterday denied reports that they intend to freeze parts of the reform for a year and approve only the change in the composition of the committee for the selection of judges.

The revolution planned by the government includes a series of significant changes in the legal system, such as a determination that only an expanded composition of the High Court of Justice can invalidate legislation passed by the Knesset. Another step of the revolution, designed to strengthen the government's hand vis-à-vis the court, is the establishment of a superseding clause that will nullify decisions of the High Court by a majority of only 61 members of the Knesset, as well as changing the composition of the committee for the selection of judges so that it is fully controlled by the coalition.

The reform also deals with weakening the power of the legal advisors to the government, so that their position will not bind the government, and with eliminating the reason for reasonableness, which, among other things, significantly limits the court's ability to intervene in the appointment of senior officials.
