On video: removed from a club in Eilat - and tried to set it on fire (Walla system!)
A prosecutor's statement was filed today (Sunday) against a 30-year-old resident of Migdal Ha'Emek, for attempting to set fire to a club he was removed from in Eilat a week ago.
An indictment will be filed against him in the coming days.
The investigation was opened after the manager of the "Bardak" club in the city called the police to the scene and reported that the entrance to the bar had been set on fire.
After collecting evidence from the passers-by, the suspect was arrested.

His investigation revealed that he was kicked out of the club after rioting while drunk.
On leaving there, he decided to set fire to the entrance to the club.
He placed a cardboard box nearby and set it on fire.
Only after making sure that the cardboard was indeed on fire did he leave the place.
The suspect confessed to his actions during the investigation.
In the documentation of the event, the suspect can be seen lighting the fire in the cardboard while smoking a cigarette, waiting in place until the cardboard burns again with his help, then goes down the stairs and leaves.
A short time later, while the fire was almost spreading, the workers came out and rushed to put out the fire.
