Bitan at the Likud meeting: I will vote for softening the reform, but this is the last time - voila! news

At the Likud meeting, the Minister of Justice presented the changes in the reform to the members of the faction, and Bitan expressed his dissatisfaction and said: "Everything is cooked up here." Likud MK David Bitan said today (

Monday) that he would vote in favor of softening the reform, which was presented at the faction's meeting, but warned: "This is the last time we will not be consulted", as Wala learned! He also said in reference to the softening, "Everything is cooked up here."

Minister of Justice Yariv Levin presented the changes in the reform, telling the members of the faction: "We did not come to rule but to diversify."

We need diversity, so that there are no marginalized populations.

The judges are independent and they don't work for us, but we shouldn't give them complete independence."



In response MK Avi Dichter asked at the yeshiva, "Why do we need to control the three authorities?".

MK Hanoch Milevetski claimed, "We were on the committee for two and a half months, but now no one counts us." Minister of Culture and Sports Miki Zohar said: "We must all vote unanimously."
