Drug violence in Bajo Flores: Demon, Ranita and El Cholo Rómulo, the new names of bloody settings

2023-03-20T13:56:38.741Z

Last Saturday, a drug trafficker was murdered in the villa 11-1-14. He surely will not be the last in a territory decimated by internal wars and the absence of the Peruvian drug lord 'Marcos'.

Jhordan Rodolfo Benítez Reyes (31), Peruvian, was a feared man in the

village 11-1-14

of Bajo Flores.

There everyone knew him by the nickname "Demon" and for being a "trigger" at the service of Wilmer "Mascarita" Cruz Aredo (39), a man loyal to the brothers Fernando "Piti" Estrada Gonzáles (60) and Marco Antonio Estrada Gonzales (59), aka "Marcos."

"Mascarita" -who had been left in charge of the business after the 24-year prison sentence against "Marcos" in November 2020- was attacked and shot seven times shortly after the verdict against his boss.

They ambushed him in a small bar in the town and shot him at point blank range.

Miraculously

he was able to survive and today he is a fugitive

.

"Mascarita" claimed the attack.

On January 7, 2022, Edi Martel Valverde (53), alias "Loco Eddy", and Manuel Ortega Huanci (46), alias "Cau Cau" were murdered.

Jhordan Rodolfo Benítez Reyes (31), alias "Demon", murdered in the villa 11-1-14.

A revenge led to another revenge, one dead to another dead.

Narco account adjustments are a tradition in the blocks where the narcos rule.

The question now is that with the chiefs imprisoned, expelled or dead,

the bid for the territory is being resolved with bullets more and more frequently

.

"Demon", our character in the first paragraph of the note, is a perfect example of what drug chain violence is.

Because he executed revenge and also fell victim to one.

Following his story we even reached the last homicide recorded in the village 11-1-14 in Bajo Flores: it was last Saturday night and the victim was Alfredo Espinoza Pérez (43), a Bolivian, alias "El Cholo Rómulo".

Robert Wilmer De la Cruz Aredo ("Mascarita"), Fernando Estrada Gonzáles ("Piti") and Marco Estrada Gonzáles ("Marcos").

The days of "Demon"

Jhordan Rodolfo Benítez Reyes was assassinated on the night of Friday, January 13, at 2200 Bonorino. In reality, the witnesses say that he was going down the avenue, they made him turn into an alley and they killed him there.

"Demon" received five bullets.

Four shot to the body and one to the head.

All from behind

.

Few mourned his death.

In the chats of the town's neighbors and in the profiles of many of them, "Demon" (or "Jhor", as they also called him) appeared scrawled with a photo as the murderer of a kid in a bowling alley.

The gossips of the place (there are, and there are many) say that shortly before his murderers found him, Benítez Reyes had been delayed by gendarmes who patrol the area of Riestra and Bonorino to identify him.

Alfredo Espinoza Pérez (43), Bolivian, alias "El Cholo Rómulo", was murdered in the village on 11-1-14.

In addition to the bowling alley kid (totally unrelated to the traffic business), "Demon" was pointed out as the perpetrator of the attack suffered by José Luis "Ranita" Cuenca Beltrán (40) on April 6, 2022 in the 13th block of the neighborhood .

In that episode, the daughter of his partner, a girl of just 4 years old, was injured.

Gendarmerie rescues another curious episode about "Demon": on April 9, 2022, a man was arrested in the villa and accused of arms abuse.

When they asked him why he was armed, he told them that he did it to defend himself because

"Demon" was looking for him to kill him.

Revenge comes revenge comes, the ambush on "Demon" was blamed in the neighborhood on Alfredo Espinoza Pérez, alias "El Cholo Rómulo".

He formed a powerful triumvirate with Mauricio Matías Marca Choque (alias "El Cholo Mauri", Bolivian, half-brother of drug lord Raúl Martin Maylli Rivera, alias "Dumbo") and Carlos Alberto Limas Jáuregui (Peruvian, alias "Cachete").

Carlos Alberto Limas Jáuregui, alias "Cachete", drug trafficker from Bajo Flores.

When "Mauri" and "Cachete" were arrested, it was he who was left in charge of what had been the structures of the Estrada Gonzáles, now very deteriorated with so much investigation and operation ordered by the federal Justice and executed by the Drug area. of the Federal Police.

To "Cholo Rómulo" his precarious reign did not last long

.

Around 8:00 p.m. last Saturday, when he was riding his bicycle, they attacked him at the corner of San Jorge and Mercosur.

He received a bullet in the chest and two in the back.

For some, this reckoning, the last one (so far), has to do with the murder of "Demon", since he was mentioned as one of the perpetrators.

Mauricio Matías Marca Choque (alias "El Cholo Mauri").

For others, the crime is a blow from the arrest, last Friday in Peru, of Jhon Paul Revilla Estrada -alias "Burro"-, nephew of "Marcos" and "Piti" Estrada Gonzáles.

Although he had been arrested and expelled from Argentina twice, "Burro" periodically reappeared in Bajo Flores as a representative of the clan.

His arrest was a great loss.

The question now is this and it worries more than one.

"Marcos" was expelled and is living in Lima;

His brother "Piti" is also hiding there with great success, a fugitive since 2010;

his nephew Jhon Paul fell just a few days ago;

"Dumbo" and his entire gang are also in jail;

characters who aspired to be number one - like Johnny Ray Arnao Quispe (38, alias "Pantro") - ended up in prison.

Without a clear leader, and with many firearms at his disposal, the unknown is how many more deaths the war will claim for the seven hectares that the Estrada Gonzáles managed in the last 30 years.
