Justice Minister Yariv Levin said this evening (Monday) that if the High Court rejects the legal reform laws, "that would be crossing any red line and we will not accept it," as he put it. Minister Levin said these things in an interview with Patriots on Channel 14. He added: "There is no justification For the High Court's disqualification, the change we made was intended to prevent any claim of a constitutional crisis."

He also said that after the recess of the Knesset, the other articles of the legal reform will be promoted.

"I say clearly, after the break we will advance the other components of the reform exactly as planned."

Earlier, the Likud faction voted in favor of a change in the composition of the committee for the selection of judges as part of the legal revolution legislation.

In the vote, 34 MKs voted in favor compared to 4 against, including Danny Danon, Dodi Amsalem, Moshe Saada and Moshe Psal.
