A sudden and incomprehensible violence.
Saturday afternoon, around 4:30 p.m., a crew from the local security group of the Saint-Nazaire police station (Loire-Atlantique) intervened in a pharmacy located in rue Jean Gutenberg.
Shortly before, an individual had attacked,
"without apparent reason"
, several people, using a belt.

He notably struck a blow to a pharmacy assistant and a customer.
Other people present in the pharmacy at the time of the events managed to control the individual, hold him to the ground and then tie him with the belt used.
Violence with weapon
According to the police, the suspect in this case is a 58-year-old resident of Saint-Nazaire.
“This individual did not seem to enjoy all his mental faculties”
