Freilassing - A serious accident occurred in Upper Bavaria on Monday, March 20th.
The Bavarian Red Cross (BRK) reports on this in a statement.
Accident in Upper Bavaria: Seat and Audi crash head-on
According to the report, two vehicles collided at around 6 a.m. on state road 2104 in front of the Freilassing outdoor pool.
An Audi driver (21) and a Seat driver (26) were involved in the accident.
Both young people were "lucky in their misfortune, according to the Red Cross's initial assessment." They survived the accident with moderate injuries.
According to the police investigation, the 21-year-old had got into the oncoming lane for unknown reasons and collided with the young woman's seat.

Accident in Freilassing: Police officers on the way home from the night shift become first responders
First responders, including two police officers on their way home from night shift - one of them a volunteer paramedic - attended to the two injured.
Along with another volunteer paramedic from the BRK readiness who was on his way to work.
The emergency services, who arrived soon after, cared for the young people and took them to clinics.
Both vehicles were totaled for an estimated 50,000 euros and both had to be towed away.
“The volunteer fire brigades from Freilassing and Saaldorf diverted the remaining traffic over a large area, cleaned the road and ensured fire protection.
The state road was completely closed for around an hour and a half while the accident was being recorded.
Officials from the Freilassing Police Inspectorate recorded the traffic accident.
