Israel's ambassador to Ukraine Michael Brodsky was summoned today for an inquiry at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kyiv, during which he protested to him that Israel still has not implemented a large part of the promises made to Ukraine during Foreign Minister Eli Cohen's visit to the country about a month ago, according to Ukrainian sources.

why is it important:

  • Foreign Minister Eli Cohen's visit to Kiev and the series of promises he made in the meeting with Foreign Minister Valva and President Zelensky were intended to signal increased Israeli support for Ukraine.

However, the ambassador's summons to the conversation indicates that the dissatisfaction on the Ukrainian side regarding Israel's policy still continues.
