Foreign Minister Eli Cohen met with the President of Ukraine in Kiev (Yossi Pons, PM)
Israel's ambassador to Ukraine Michael Brodsky was summoned today for an inquiry at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kyiv, during which he protested to him that Israel still has not implemented a large part of the promises made to Ukraine during Foreign Minister Eli Cohen's visit to the country about a month ago, according to Ukrainian sources.

why is it important:
Foreign Minister Eli Cohen's visit to Kiev and the series of promises he made in the meeting with Foreign Minister Valva and President Zelensky were intended to signal increased Israeli support for Ukraine.
However, the ambassador's summons to the conversation indicates that the dissatisfaction on the Ukrainian side regarding Israel's policy still continues.

Behind the Scenes:
Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister for Middle East Affairs Maxim Sobh told the Israeli ambassador that so far there has been no progress in guaranteeing the $200 million loan that Israel promised to provide to Ukraine, as well as in regards to receiving a larger number of wounded Ukrainian soldiers for rehabilitative treatment in hospitals in Israel.
Sobh told the Israeli ambassador that while Israel is asking Ukraine to declare the Iranian Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist organization, the Israeli government refuses to comply with Ukraine's request to declare the Russian "Wagner Force" as a terrorist organization.
