A woman and her 3 and 9 year old daughters were victims of a
brutal triple femicide in Zárate
.
During the early morning
they were stabbed and beaten
inside their house.
Their bodies were found in the middle of a fierce
fire
.
Police arrested the mother's ex-partner, who
was seen entering and leaving the house
.
The main hypothesis is that, after the attack, she set it on fire.
The episode occurred on a property located on 3 de Febrero and Pavón.
There the Police arrived due to the complaint from the neighbors about a fire that had broken out.
Upon entering, they were able to rescue the two girls, who were in serious condition.
They were urgently transferred to the Virgen del Carmen Hospital, but died on the way.
Inside the house they found
Eliana Rodríguez (30)
, who had already died.
The neighbors immediately pointed out that during the early morning they had seen Juan Cruza (26)
, a man who was the woman's ex-partner and also the father of one of the two deceased girls,
enter the house (and in a "stealthy" manner).
.
Although at first it was thought that the three women had died as a result of the fire, the scientific police indicated that they
were attacked with stabs and blows.
In addition, a bloody blade was found
at the crime scene. This would be one of the murder weapons, it was stuck in one of the mattresses, police sources reported.
According to the first report from the experts who worked at the scene of the triple femicide, Eliana had stab wounds to her neck and chest;
her daughter Renata (9), stab wounds to the neck, face, and left hand;
and her youngest daughter, Sofía (3), caved in on the left side of the skull and cuts on her face.
The youngest was Cruza's daughter.
To the testimonies of the neighbors against Cruza was added the material from a surveillance camera, where the man was seen entering the house in the early hours of the morning.
Cruza lives in the back hallway and behind the victim's house.
The police went to arrest him and the man tried to escape through the roofs and corridors of the neighborhood.
According to the newspaper La Voz de Zárate, he hurt his leg trying to flee and that made it possible for the neighbors to catch up and beat him.
Then it was the police who finally subdued him and took him into custody.
Cruza had an arrest warrant for Qualified Robbery, dating back to February 18 of this year.
The man also came from getting out of jail.
According to the neighbors, he had already had a history of violence towards his partner.
A handbag with $46,000 pesos and 51 cocaine wrappers was also found in the house.
