After a knife attack on a man and a woman in an apartment in Heidenheim, a 27-year-old has been arrested.
The two victims were taken to clinics on Tuesday afternoon, police said.
The 38-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries and needed emergency surgery.
The 37-year-old woman is not in mortal danger.
Heidenheim – The investigations into the processes and the background to the crime are ongoing.
The alleged perpetrator is due to appear before the magistrate on Wednesday.
The police spokeswoman could not provide any further information on the case.
