A boy who went to Marcelo Corazza's car in Plaza Miserere: the situation that complicates the former Big Brother

It happened as soon as he won the reality show, in 2001. They accuse him of corruption of minors, although he denies having committed this crime.

"I am innocent," Marcelo Adolfo Corazza (50) managed to say when he entered the Courts.

Hooded and surrounded, he tried to evade - with no luck - the waiting cameras.

Something similar was repeated at the exit, after judge Javier Sánchez Sarmiento and prosecutor Patricio Lugones made known the accusation against him.

The former Big Brother entered the building on Calle Lavalle at 7:22 and then sat down to listen to the accusation.

He only managed to deny the facts and refused to answer questions.

One of his lawyers, Horacio Semin, confirmed to

: "He denied any kind of connection and knowledge with the facts and refused to testify until we make contact with the elements of the case and be able to expand his statement."

The transfer of Corazza for his investigation.

They point to Corazza for -at least- one case: "One day (after 2001), the defendant (Rolando) Angelotti Notarbartolo was with victim 1 and 3 (NdR: the identity of the complainants has been preserved). He told

him to the first one who had someone who wanted to meet him

," the indictment says.

That child would have refused the meeting but agreed after being "convinced" to attend the meeting.

Always according to the accusation of the Justice, the victim reported that Angelotti

took him in a car to Miserere Square, where he parked next to another vehicle

Marcelo Corazza.

On the other side, the brand new winner of the first edition of Big Brother (in 2001) opened the window in one of his most popular moments.

"Victim 1 was attracted to the situation since he had recently been the winner of the reality show. This led him to go overboard," they said.

What follows is the story of a situation of abuse involving a minor who,

two decades later, dared to denounce

The trigger would have been the reappearance of his abuser in the debates linked to the new edition of the reality show that Telefe currently broadcasts.

"Corruption of minors" is the cover of the cause.

In addition to Corazza, there are three other detainees: they are Andrés Fernando Charpenet (53), Raúl Ignacio Mermet (45) and Francisco Rolando Angelotti Notarbartolo (46), all captured this Monday in six raids carried out in the City of Buenos Aires, General Rodriguez and Missions.

The arrest of the suspect.

Who is Angelotti?

This Tuesday Corazza and Charpenet declared, both accused of being "consumers": for Justice,

they paid to abuse children and adolescents

who were provided to them by a network that recruited them in Misiones and transferred them to Buenos Aires, although the cause is still pending. in full investigation.

Angelotti is a missionary, a gastronomic entrepreneur who has a pizza company in front of the home that was raided this Monday.

From there, in addition to computers and cell phones, they took VHS and film material that could be of interest to the cause.

They point to him as the leader of the group.

Francisco Rolando Angelotti Notarbartolo, detained in Misiones, in the case of corruption of minors.

By 2009, the man had a bowling alley called "Ohm Lounge Club" that was closed twice.

Both times there were boys between the ages of 12 and 17 consuming alcoholic beverages when that was not allowed.

In addition to the fact that he did not have the corresponding authorization.

Angelotti had already been charged in 2005 by the missionary Justice for sexual abuse with carnal access and corruption of minors.

In 2008 he appealed to the Chamber of Cassation and would have ended up dismissed in 2009 by the Superior Court of Justice of Misiones.

This Wednesday it will be his turn to declare, just like Ignacio Mermet.

Both will have the opportunity to know the accusation against them.

The investigation

According to sources with access to the file, the abuses occurred in private cars in Caballito, Parque Centenario, Plaza Miserere, Costanera Sur, a farm in Castelar, temporary shelters in the suburbs, and private homes.

The suspicion of the investigators is that Angelotti recruited young people and children from the province of Misiones through Internet chat sites to take them to live with him at a home in General Rodríguez, where Mermet had a country house and from where they took him. arrested.

The investigation began on October 24 of last year, after a witness with a confidential identity denounced that he had been sexually abused when he was between 11 and 13 years old, between 1999 and 2002, by one of the now detainees, whom he could only identify. by his first name.

It would have been just after Corazza participated in a program on Telefe, where he worked as a producer two decades ago.

The investigation would take several years, but only recently would they have found enough elements to move forward with the testimonies incorporated into the file.

Telefe will collaborate with Justice immediately as long as it is required.

Telefe preventively suspended Corazza as regulated by law until Justice clarifies this situation.

We hope and advocate for the rapid clarification of the facts

, ”the channel said in a statement to get rid of the detainee.

Corazza had worked as a youth coach at Tigre Rugby Club and from there they communicated: “

We want to convey our complete shock at the reported facts.

We pronounce ourselves as an institution in the face of these aberrational facts, repudiating them and making ourselves available to Justice if required

And they added: “

Marcelo Corazza served as the Club's rugby coach in senior and youth categories until 2022 and accompanied players from our club in a friendly match last weekend.

Until the facts are clarified,

he is disconnected from our institution
