After Éric Ciotti, two new elected Les Républicains were targeted, on the sidelines of the demonstrations against the pension reform, in the Alpes-Maritimes.

The mayor of Grasse, Jérôme Viaud, and the deputy for the 7th district Éric Pauget, respectively saw their town hall and permanent office degraded in connection with the pension reform and its passage with article 49.3.

The entrance door to the Grasse municipality was tagged on Monday night, said the city councilor, with the inscription in white paint of "

49.3 c dead"

accompanied by an anarchist symbol.

Jérôme Viaud, who is also the president of the association of mayors of the Alpes-Maritimes, has mentioned other acronyms of this type in his city.

"I condemn in the strongest terms these acts of vandalism and violence which cannot be tolerated in the public space, and which go against republican principles,"

he wrote on his Facebook page.

He filed a complaint with the municipal police station.

On the side of Antibes, the permanence of the parliamentarian Éric Pauget was vandalized after the vote of the motion of censure rejected by nine votes.

As for that of Eric Ciotti in Nice in the port district, Sunday, the window was broken with a stone.

“My permanence was rocked last night.

To attack an elected official is to attack our rule of law.

I am filing a complaint and strongly condemning this violence and the pressure on elected officials

,” said MP LR on Twitter.

"Intolerable !

, also commented Éric Ciotti on the social network.

We will not give in to intimidation.

Only the higher interest of France counts!”

The permanence of the deputy of the third constituency Philippe Pradal (Horizons) had also been tagged with a

"no to the reform"

on Saturday.

Proof that tension is rising, even on the Côte d'Azur, a territory usually less conducive to large-scale demonstrations and excesses.

The CGT of the Alpes-Maritimes has every intention of toughening up these actions.

From Wednesday in particular, going down on the rails at Nice-Ville station, and Thursday, trying to block the airport.
