In the aftermath of the rejection of the cross-party censure motion in the National Assembly, with only nine votes, the blockages are increasing in Loire-Atlantique.
In Nantes, a “dead city” operation was launched this morning, on the initiative of the CGT, FSU, Solidaires, but also of citizens, students and political movements.

“These blocking operations were decided spontaneously yesterday in the face of the rejection of the motion of censure.
We are mobilizing everywhere, by all means

Peripheral blocked, trams stopped
Among the actions carried out this morning at dawn, the Janvraie roundabout, leading to the Cheviré bridge, was occupied.
The demonstrators also climbed on the bridge, as well as on that of Bellevue.

These are two major axes of the city.
This had repercussions almost everywhere
, ”explains Esther Le Cordier about the mess caused at the level of these two bridges.
Access to the Porte de la Chapelle was also disrupted after a filtering dam in the area.
A few tram lines were cut due to a "
blockage at the Beauséjour depot in Nantes
", reports Fabrice David of the CGT.
Tram line 3 was not operational until 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
On its website, the TAN network, which updates its transport forecasts live, indicates that certain disturbances are still in progress: "
line 2 is cut between the St Félix and Morrhonnière stations
", is it for example indicated due to a Morrhonnière Petit Port sector blockage.
If the traffic cuts have been lifted gradually, strike pickets in front of companies or technical centers continue.
This is the case for the Nantes Métropole household waste and cleaning depots, the Manitou company in Ancenis, and the incineration plant in Couëron.

This evening, at 6:30 p.m., a torchlight demonstration is planned at Place Bretagne.
