On Sunday March 19, a 58-year-old man was arrested in the parking lot of the Bron Woman-Mother-Child Hospital around 9 p.m.
Alcoholic, he had just committed several thefts on the spot when the security agents tried to arrest him.
The suspect then took out a grinder to threaten them before being overpowered by the agents and the police called in for reinforcement.
Unfavorably known to the police, he was found with a stolen laptop, phone and charger in the hospital's medical ward.
Security guards and the hospital filed a complaint.
Placed in police custody, the suspect admitted the facts.
He will be presented to the prosecution on Tuesday for intentional violence with a weapon and concealment of theft.
