The Cosa Nostra brand on drugs: this is the discovery of the Carabinieri of Marsala who seized 13 kilos of hashish pats with photos of the boss Matteo Messina Denaro and Totò Riina.
The carabinieri of the operational and mobile radio unit, coordinated by the local prosecutor's office, found the narcotic substance, who discovered a wholesale drug depot and a laboratory for cutting and packaging doses.
The 28-year-old who kept the narcotic substance arrested.
The military had been controlling a warehouse on the outskirts of Marsala for days, until they stopped a 28-year-old local with a clean record who was leaving the room on board his own car, finding him in possession of 50 grams of pure cocaine.
In the warehouse, the Arma military then discovered a stock of various types of drugs, including hashish pats with the effigies of Salvatore Riina and Matteo Messina Denaro.
The military seized a total of 13 kilos of hashish, 700 grams of pure cocaine and 700 grams of marijuana contained in various plastic bags.
A vacuum packing machine, two electronic scales and various material useful for cutting the substance were also found.
In the same evening,
other searches were carried out in homes and cars available to the young man, finding notes and accounts being examined by the carabinieri.
The drug seized, according to estimates by investigators, would have yielded retail revenues of over 200,000 euros.
After the validation of the arrest, the investigating judge ordered the arrestee to be placed in custody in prison
