(ANSA) - MILAN, MARCH 21 - Irene Pivetti was sent to trial in Milan on charges of tax evasion and self-laundering for a series of commercial transactions, in particular the sale and purchase of three Ferrari Granturismo which, according to the hypothesis, would have been used to launder proceeds resulting from tax offences.
This was decided by the investigating judge Fabrizio Filice who accepted the request of the prosecutor Giovanni Tarzia.
Five other people are also judged, including former rally driver LeoIsolani.
The trial will open on June 13 in front of the fourth criminal section of the court.
