Weather in Germany: Numerous places break the 20 degree mark this week

Spring starts changeable.

Over the course of the week, top temperatures of over 20 degrees are expected and the sun can be seen in places.

Munich – On Monday, March 20th, was the start of spring on the calendar.

The current mild temperature trend continued on this day.

Nevertheless, thick cloud cover and regional showers clouded the spring feelings for the time being.

Weather for the next few days: temperatures will remain mild and sunny moments will be rare

When the sun comes out, it is important to enjoy every free minute, because even in the coming days it will rarely peek out from behind the dense cloud cover.

According to the German Weather Service (DWD), partly sunny weather is to be expected on Wednesday (March 22) in the southeast region and on Thursday (March 23) the sun will peek out towards the Alps from time to time.

In the north, the sun will probably be a long time coming and it will be wet in many places.

Small consolation: The temperatures climb above 20 degrees, especially in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg - according to the German Weather Service, top temperatures of 22 degrees are expected in the Chiemgau.

At night, we will probably mostly experience plus degrees across Germany.

However, it will be a bit cooler for the weekend.

  friendly southeast, gray and relatively cold northwest, 10 to 21 degrees

• Thursday, March 23:

  dry and partly sunny south, isolated thunderstorms in the north, 11 to 22 degrees

• Friday, March 24th:

  Rather dry north, rainy south, isolated stormy gusts, 11 to 18 degrees

• Saturday, March 25:

  cloudy, partly sunny south, isolated thunderstorms in the southeast, partly with sleet, 9 to 14 degrees

• Sunday, March 26:

  cloudy to overcast weather, rain or showers in many places, 8 to 14 degrees.

Scattered gusts of wind: This is what the weather will be like this weekend

On Friday (March 24) and on Saturday night (March 25), a fresh south-west to west wind will cause stormy weather in many places.

Heavy gusts of wind are to be expected in the mountains.
