A 22-year-old man from Kiryat Shmona was arrested this evening (Wednesday) on suspicion of setting fire to social security offices in the city.
Arriving police officers identified spray-painted "Burn" inscriptions as well as an attempt to set fire to the entrance area of the building.
Fire and rescue fighters who arrived at the scene were able to control the fire and prevented the fire from spreading into the building.
The case ended without casualties.
The police set up roadblocks at the exits from the city and at the same time several measures were used that led to the arrest of the suspect.
Also, tomorrow it will be decided whether to bring the suspect before the court.
