Munich – During his live broadcast on Tuesday, March 14th, moderator Mike Thiel from Radio Gong 96.3 burst his collar.
He left the studio and drove to Plinganserstraße in Sendling.
In the morning there were long traffic jams in rush hour because climate activists had glued themselves to the street again.
Thiel had already made the activists an offer on Monday on the show: "Next time you want to stick yourself on the street in Munich and the region, don't do it!
Instead, come to us at the Funkhaus.
I cordially invite you to the studio and give you airtime if you don't stick to the street and don't endanger others.
Therefore, Thiel made another attempt.
The Munich sticking deal: microphone instead of street
Arrived in Sendling, Thiel tried to convince the activists again with his offer: microphone instead of street.
The climate activists accepted the deal.
"We actually planned two days," activist Wolfgang Metzeler-Kick told Radio Gong.
"Today a huge disruption - tomorrow then another disruption.
We would take up the offer and stop the disruption tomorrow.”

At 7:09 a.m. on Wednesday, March 15, Mike Thiel spoke to Micha from the "Last Generation".
"I've never done anything like that before," said the radio host.
"But what has to, that has to." First he made his anger clear and asked why the "Last Generation" stuck on the street again on Tuesday despite his offer.
"The group from Sendling decided to get their message out there," Micha explained.
“The group that planned the protest today at Stachus made a different decision.
She said: No, let's do it.
Let's take up the offer of sticking to the mic instead of the cold street.”
Now the deal with Radio Gong is in place: Nobody sticks to Stachus, but the "last generation" comes into the studio.
Micha assures: "After we are with you in the studio tomorrow, there will be no protest." Thiel became more forgiving.
Until Thursday, March 16, Micha and his group could think about what specific messages they want to send to hundreds of thousands of people and politicians.
"We're grateful for the opportunity," he said.
To do justice to the topic, Radio Gong is planning a special broadcast with the climate activists on Thursday, March 16 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Until then, Thiel is calling on everyone in Munich to also think about what they would like to talk about with the "last generation".
