"I realized all the suffering I went through because of my hair, and I wondered what would happen if I let it grow," she said in her Tiktok video. social media and I met many people who inspired me. They told me about their experiences and I told myself that something has to change.''

The influencer addressed her 291,100 followers saying: "This doesn't make sense, what do we do?"

And decided to just stop removing hair and see what would happen.

"First, I started to commercialize my hair removal, I let it grow, I started showing it on social media, and I found a lot of people who were inspired by it and told me about their experiences of suffering in adolescence due to body and facial hair."

Martina's posts received many comments, with a large amount of support as well as some criticism.

In one of her latest videos she shows off her natural eyebrows, and another user commented "I love your natural eyebrows! The lashes are divine!".

Another commenter said: "I don't like such hairy women, but that's my problem; as long as you feel good and don't hurt anyone, everything is perfect."

However, her videos also received a lot of hits.

One user commented: "You're not ugly, just your eyebrows", and Martina responded with humor and wrote in her Tiktok bio: "This account belongs to my eyebrows", and the criticism does not deter her.

On the contrary - in another video she publishes a body image, showing her legs that have not been shaved for a year.

Martina Diaz isn't the only one using her voice on social media to challenge the strict standards of beauty, and specifically women's body hair - another influencer, Taylor Tilt, also uses her TikTok account to show that she no longer uses wax.

Tilt started a long time ago, and from there she hasn't shaved in more than ten years, promoting the results of her decision on her social accounts.

Taylor believes that the decisions we make about our bodies are personal and claims that the negative comments do not affect her when it comes to hair removal: ''I only shave my legs twice a year.

My haters are in shock,'' she said.
