Flensburg – The members of the “Last Generation” group certainly had different ideas when they wanted to start a protest in downtown Flensburg last week.
Four climate stickers wanted to stick themselves to the road again last Thursday (March 16) on Süderhofenden Street.

Around 3 p.m., four climate adhesives stormed onto the street in Süderhofenden to stick to the asphalt on the busy main road opposite the bus station.
However, the activists had poorly chosen the location for their action.

Courageous intervention by the police prevents the climate stickers from being blocked
There is a police station diagonally opposite the location for the planned adhesive action.
In addition, the police officers were already warned about the action.
When they could see what was happening directly from their window, some police officers immediately ran to stop the demonstrators from taking action.
The officers, dressed in civilian clothes, managed to drag the air-conditioning adhesive off the street and put it on a traffic island before the superglue could be used.

According to the police spokeswoman, the four activists aged 30, 38, 40 and 47 are now being investigated on suspicion of coercion.
Most recently, the activists announced that the actions would also be extended to motorways.
