Alicia Joe has been publicly criticizing RTL for her TV program for some time.

Now the former Who Wants To Be A Millionaire contestant is taking it a step further.

Cologne – With almost 550,000 subscribers, Alicia Joe (27) is one of the most successful YouTubers in Germany.

She started with make-up tutorials, today she explains grievances and questionable trends in our society in her critical and carefully researched videos - from family bloggers to the soccer World Cup in Qatar.

In her latest YouTube video entitled "I've had enough, I'm drawing conclusions" she is now dealing with RTL.

Alicia Joe no longer wants to have anything to do with RTL: she has been criticizing for a long time

Alicia, who sat opposite Günther Jauch as a candidate on “Who wants to be a millionaire” in 2020, “no longer wants to be positively associated with the name RTL, be it RTL Plus, RTL or RTL Zwei or simply the RTL Group”.

In addition, she no longer wants to push RTL formats through her old videos – for example her sarcastic comment videos on the bachelor.

That's why Alicia Joe has now removed eighty videos from her channel.

But why this radical step?

It's no secret that she has long considered RTL's TV program questionable.

As early as 2021, she criticized the broadcaster's reality formats.

The contestants would be paraded, alcohol would be glorified, and cosmetic procedures would be normalized.

There was renewed criticism in 2022 for the RTL+ format "Dubai Diaries" with Simon Desue.

But Alicia Joe doesn't even have a bit of understanding for the planned RTL2 baby documentary with Michael Wendler and Laura Müller.

"Contact with station bosses": Did "Die Geissens" throw out the Wendler documentary on RTL2?

Beaming with joy, Michael Wendler and Laura Müller announced their TV comeback.

RTL2 should accompany the scandal couple during their pregnancy - including the birth in the final.

But after RTL2 received criticism from all sides for the planned Wendler documentary, the broadcaster rowed back within 24 hours.

Carmen Geiss is also pleased, who not only publicly gave the station an ultimatum, but also has a direct line to the station boss.

"Puke up": Former "Who wants to be a millionaire" candidate settles with RTL

Because, like many TV viewers, Carmen Geiss, who even threatened to end the collaboration with the broadcaster, Alicia Joe was not very enthusiastic about the Wendlers' planned baby documentary.

"I puked when I read that," she says.

In your opinion, Michael Wendler is a hate speech.

"Honestly, I don't know what kind of people are in the editorial team at RTL2 who think it's a good idea to give someone like that (...) a platform."

She draws the line for herself here: “RTL Group should intervene and control more strictly here, act with moral integrity.

That's why I've just radically cleaned up my channel.

From Love Island to jungle camp to the bachelor: Removed everything that contained content from these stations.

By the way: Without Michael Wendler, she would hardly have become known.

But now it is the former hit star because of which Laura Müller is now suffering financial losses.
