A sartorial foretaste: that's all that Lady Amelia Spencer lets circulate for the moment of her marriage.
Princess Diana's 30-year-old niece appeared three days ago in a post from an Instagram account that unofficially reports the Spencers.
The publication brings together several shots taken by the guests.
We see the young woman posing in a long, fluid and delicate dress, with a crossed bust and champagne color.
Her hair is pulled up in a tight bun set with beaded jewelry.
Her fiancé, real estate agent and sports coach Greg Mallett, wears a fitted white shirt lightened by its first two buttons, over navy blue suit pants, paired with a black belt and dark loafers.
But make no mistake: even if it looks like it, this look is not that of a wedding outfit.
A preamble only, an index at most.
These few photos indeed indicated that the party was just beginning.
“A beautiful evening to launch the festivities”, could we read on the story of a guest that day.
Big family
Will this marriage recall that of Lady Kitty, Amelia Spencer's older sister?
In 2021, the latter had married her fiancé Michael Lewis, a 62-year-old businessman in Rome, and had worn for the occasion five dresses, each more extravagant than the other, signed Dolce & Gabbana.
Amelia Spencer also has a twin sister, Lady Eliza, and a younger brother, Louis Spencer, two years younger.
All four are the children of Victoria Aitken and Charles Spencer, youngest and brother of Lady Diana.
Their family was exiled in 1995 far from the prying eyes and flashes of the English tabloids, in South Africa.
Two years later, they had experienced a stormy divorce.
Charles Spencer returned to England and his ex-wife remained in Cape Town.
The twins then lived between the two continents.
Lady Amelia was educated at the University of Cape Town, where she met her future husband, Greg Mallett.
And married, for the moment, in the greatest secrecy.
