Two seriously injured people had to be taken to hospitals, one woman later died in hospital.

Around 11 a.m., a witness reported a loud family argument.
"Officials from the Marktheidenfeld Police Inspectorate and numerous support forces from surrounding departments were quickly on site," says a press release from the Lower Franconia police.
The emergency services found two seriously injured people in the family's apartment.
Both injured, a 33-year-old woman and her 35-year-old husband, received medical treatment at the scene.
The couple were taken to hospitals.
The woman later succumbed to her injuries.

"A one-year-old child, who was in the apartment at the time of the argument, was handed over to the youth welfare office, along with the couple's three other children," the police continued.
Luitpoldstraße was temporarily closed to traffic for the extensive emergency medical measures.
The fire brigade and the THW supported the rescue and recovery measures.
The support group of the Lower Franconia police was also on duty and set up a contact point for relatives and affected emergency services in the town hall.
The Würzburg criminal police are investigating the background.
