Lee Menachem, the partner of Or Ascher, who recalled today (Wednesday) the moments when she was informed of the shooting attack in which Ascher was murdered and two more of his friends were injured.
"I made an appointment at 8:30 p.m. with dad and friends," she wrote on social media.
"Suddenly my friend Nushi shows me on the phone two wounded people from a shooting in Dizengoff. But Or is going from Dizengoff to a wedding. There is something about calling someone to check that they are okay that it doesn't occur to you that they won't be okay. You automatically call to mark V and go on with your life. No human brings up In his opinion it could be otherwise."
Menachem continued and said that at these moments she began to experience an anxiety attack.
"I ring and Or doesn't answer. An anxiety attack starts, but I'm getting used to it. I need Or and think in my head how I'm going to fight with him for not answering me straight even though he knows I'm in hysterics from terrorist attacks. Just a week ago I wrote him not to go after Dizengoff. I'm writing him to answer. I call Mickey and he doesn't answer. In retrospect, I know I wrote to all the groups 'Get me Or.' "I'm writing to a mother in Africa who was injured in the attack," Menachem continued.

Along with Or, two of his friends, Rotem Mansano, were seriously injured in the attack, and Michael Osdon, moderately-lightly.
Or was born in 1990 in Jerusalem, at the age of one his family moved to Zur Hadassah where he grew up.
He studied at the "Ein Harim" elementary school, at the "Youth Farm" middle school, where he studied in the class of outstanding athletes, at a high school near the university in Jerusalem.
Ascher served as a fighter in Pelhan Givati, and upon his release completed a bachelor's and master's degree in business administration. In recent years, he worked for several high-tech companies. Or was known for his love of traveling, and competed in several marathons, including many "Iron Man" competitions, including the last one in Hawaii.
