A 19-year-old man was shot dead this morning (Wednesday) in a violent incident in Basmat Tivon.
MDA paramedics arrived at the scene and performed CPR on him, but in the end they had to pronounce him dead.
Emergency medical medic from the MDA motorcycle unit Abd al-Rahman Saadi said: "The wounded man was lying on the road unconscious with a serious penetrating injury to his body. We gave him medical treatment The first involved stopping the bleeding and we performed CPR on him, but his injury was critical and in the end we had to pronounce him dead."
We have been informed by the Avraham Initiatives Association that this is the 37th murder since the beginning of the year in Arab society, with 35 of them being shot to death and 14 victims being less than 30 years old.
Six days ago, a 48-year-old resident of Tuba Zangrieh was murdered. Police officers who arrived at the scene began investigating the circumstances of the incident, as it is suspected that the background to the case is a conflict between criminals.
This is the 34th murder in the Arab sector since the beginning of the year.
