The Haifa police are investigating a suspicion that a group of Arab boys who roamed the city's streets with clubs used to attack Jewish children on nationalistic grounds.
The police know of at least seven such cases that occurred in the last two weeks as well as one robbery attributed to them.

The investigation shows that the suspects mainly operated at the matron stations and that they used to verify before the attack if they were Jewish.
Haifa Justice of the Peace Ahsan Halabi yesterday extended the detention of two suspects, residents of Haifa aged 14 and 15.
They admitted to the acts of violence, but not to the robbery or to the nationalist motive.
Two more boys were arrested today, a resident of Haifa and a resident of Jessar a Zarqa who study with the boys at the same school in the city.
