Because the water suddenly floods the passenger area on board, a plane has to change course on its way to New York.
In Frankfurt she comes to dryness.
Frankfurt – Every now and then a person with a specific professional qualification is needed on the plane.
In the history of aviation, however, a plumber was rarely in demand.
On an American Airlines flight, a toilet expert might have prevented passengers from making an involuntary visit to Frankfurt Airport.
What happened?
After the Boeing 777-300 took off from New Delhi (India), the flight to JFK Airport in New York was actually quite normal.
But after crossing the Atlantic, fulfilling a natural need became increasingly difficult for passengers and crew.

Terminus Frankfurt Airport: The plane has to stop after problems with the toilet
A water leak made it impossible to continue, as reported by the Aviation Herald aviation portal.
Several toilets and sinks were no longer usable, and there was water around the sanitary facilities.
Just under seven hours after taking off from India, the American Airlines plane changed its route via Poland and headed for Frankfurt Airport.
Half an hour later the plane touched down in Frankfurt.
A replacement plane was requested from London for the passengers, which took off again around eleven hours after the stopover at Frankfurt Airport and continued the journey to New York.
The remaining flight time passed quite dryly, at least from the point of view of drainage.
