Chaos in the Knesset plenum during the debate today (Wednesday) on the bill for electronic shackles in a preliminary reading.
The bill was finally not approved with 54 against and 53 in favor.
MK Naama Lazimi from Labor, from the Law Initiatives, spoke from the plenum podium and said when she saw the Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gabir coming in her direction: "Here comes the Minister of Pitayas, are you sending your wife to the studios to cover for you?
Shame on you."
Ben Gvir went up to the stand and shouted accusations: "You are taking advantage of the murder of women.
You are populists." All the members of the Knesset in the opposition came to gather near the speaker's stand and started shouting at him: "Shame."

The members of the Knesset from the opposition stood behind Prime Minister Netanyahu
to protest to him about this who voted against the bill. The Knesset guard removed Netanyahu from the plenary session and Speaker Bosso ordered all members of the Knesset to return to their seats

After the law was not approved, the members of the Knesset took out an electronic handcuff while he was on them and shouted: "Women's blood is not wasted."
The bill by Knesset members Gideon Sa'ar, Merav Ben Ari, Naama Lazimi and Merav Michaeli states that it will be possible for the court to order the use of technological monitoring measures such as electronic handcuffs for the purpose of monitoring the existence of a protection order in the context of domestic violence, if certain conditions are met.
Ben Gvir opposes the promotion of the bill and claimed at the beginning of the week that a "balanced" proposal is required in which only after two convictions for violent crimes will they be able to use such electronic monitoring.
The Minister committed in the Ministerial Committee for Legislation to bring a new government proposal in about a month
