A high school affected
The strike hit a high school in Rjychtchiv, a town about 80 kilometers south of kyiv, said DSNS, which published images of heavily damaged buildings.
The attack "
partially destroyed
" two floors of two residences for high school students and a building where they were studying, according to the same source.
The fire that broke out on the site, affecting more than 300 square meters, was extinguished shortly before 07:00, according to the DSNS.
Meanwhile, Russia attacked Ukraine with Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 combat drones overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday, the Ukrainian Air Force said.
A total of 21 drones were launched from the Russian region of Bryansk, located in northern Ukraine.
Sixteen of these aircraft were shot down by Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense, the air force said on Telegram.
