Following the closure of many post offices in Jerusalem, the Israel Post began operating the Red Auto, a Post Track that will distribute letters throughout the capital city in 2023

The red car is returning to Jerusalem - following the closing of many post offices throughout the city, the mayor of Jerusalem, Moshe Leon, appealed to the Israel Post to find a solution for the residents of the neighborhoods where the branches were closed.

The Israel Post responded to his request and understood the plight of the residents and began to operate the first post-track in Israel here in Jerusalem.



The red car returned to the city yesterday and was in Emek Refaim, where it is expected to visit every Tuesday between 9:00 and 12:00.

The post office pledged to provide mobile mail services in all neighborhoods where it will be needed gradually and based on demand.


The Red Auto provides letter services only (send and receive) and does not deliver packages. The packages are delivered at the service centers as it has been until today (this service has not been affected). The
