"Goodbye Germany" emigrant Ulrike and her Zimsel want to get married.
But because the pandemic has burned quite a hole in their wallets, the budget for the dream wedding is very tight.
Fuerteventura – Ulrike Kuhr emigrated in 2018 with a broken heart – and found great love in Karl-Heinz Zimmermann (58), nicknamed Zimsel.
After almost two years of planning, the two now want to tie the knot on the beach.
Because the "Goodbye Germany" stars actually wanted to get married in July 2021.
At that time, however, it was not the weather that bothered them, but their finances.

Due to the Corona travel restrictions, no tourists came to the island at the time and the joint ice cream parlor devoured thousands of euros every month.
The “Goodbye Germany” stars were broke – Zimsel only had 23 euros in the account at the time.
“Shit is bragging.
That's the financial situation at the moment," Ulrike said at the time, frustrated.
Since the two of them looked rather poor at the time, Ulrike also had to save a lot on the wedding dress.
An expensive princess dream for thousands of euros was not in it.
But Ulrike was not only flexible with the budget, but also with the color.
She doesn't necessarily have to marry in white, she could also imagine a colorful hippie dress.
"I want something plain, simple, chic that I feel comfortable in."
Ulli would like to stay under 100 euros.

The dress is also convincing in terms of price. Ulrike's wedding dress only costs 33 euros.
