Menowin Fröhlich tried several times to shake off his demons - but in vain!

Now the former DSDS finalist dares the next new beginning.

Many have written him off long ago.

Cologne – Menowin Fröhlich (35) is undoubtedly one of the most tragic personalities in the German television landscape: drugs, jail, violence, obesity, hate campaigns – the DSDS finalist from 2010 (subject to Mehrzad Marashi, 42) was hardly spared an abyss of star existence.

The singer tried again and again to leave his past behind, but it always caught up with the 35-year-old.

For this reason, many already see blackness for his next new beginning.

Menowin Fröhlich wants to know again – DSDS darling dares another comeback

Setbacks have always been part of Menowin Fröhlich's life, but the former DSDS darling is a real fighter: After he had weighed almost 160 kilograms, the father of six drew a line for his children - he has visibly lost weight, as he recently demonstrated in the Sat.1 afternoon program with "Volles Haus!".

He had to fight a "fight against his old self", said the 35-year-old on the show.

For this, a camera team accompanied the former DSDS participant to document his way back to the stage.

Not only did the kilos drop recently, things also went uphill in terms of career: Menowin Fröhlich recently presented his latest single "In Eternity" - a song in which the deeply religious singer expresses his deep love for God.

In his documentary series, which was shown between March 13 and 17 at Volles Haus!, he even presented the song to a live audience.

Already knew?

Menowin is related to German rap star:

While Menowin Fröhlich has been hoping for the big hit for years, a distant relative of his has already made it: Sido (real name Paul Würdig).

The German rapper ("Mein Block", "Bilder im Kopf") is a second cousin of the DSDS finalist from 2010.

Is Menowin Fröhlich's career over?

– Fans of comeback plans not very convinced

“In eternity” is apparently well received by those present on site, but the 35-year-old’s stage comeback is not received quite as positively online, as comments under a TikTok recording show: “I’m sorry, but its time unfortunately it's over," says a former fan of Menowin Fröhlich.

In the clip he looks worn out, tired and powerless.

"He's finished," writes one user, another says: "I've seen too much crap from him on TV.

He won't pick me up anymore."

So are Menowin Fröhlich's successful days really numbered?

The constant ups and downs in the 35-year-old's life don't seem to end - but he's currently on the right track, as he proves in "Full House!": He's already lost a total of 40.3 kilograms, although he had previously suffered from binge eating disorder, i.e. a food addiction.

On the other hand, another star lost weight involuntarily: Pietro Lombardi (30) was ill – and lost a total of ten kilos in five days.
