Robbery at a Super Pharm branch in the Niyot neighborhood in Jerusalem (Israel Police spokeswoman)
An indictment was filed today (Thursday) against Shay Abkasis, a 47-year-old resident of Beer Sheva, for attempting to rob a kiosk in the city using an object similar to a gun a few days ago.
At the same time, the prosecutor's office demands that his detention be extended until the end of the proceedings.
According to the indictment, Abacsis arrived masked at the kiosk while there were customers there.
He pressed the dummy gun to the head of the saleswoman and her customer on the spot and threatened: "Take out the cash register or I'll put a bullet in your head", and "If you don't give me the cash register now I'll put a bullet in her head."

At this point, when the client's partner approached him behind his back, grabbed his "gun" and began to confront him.
According to the indictment, Abacsis hit the man hard in the head, causing him a bruise and fled the scene.
A short time later he was arrested by the police while wearing a visor hat and sunglasses.
During the chase, he pointed the dummy gun at the police, who in response opened fire at him until he was neutralized.
Even after he was arrested, the accused cursed the police officers.
