, with a long history in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Villa Crespo, received great news in the last few hours:
the national government will give it 2,500 square meters of land
around its stadium to expand its facilities.
The announcement was made this Thursday morning.
In this way, Atlanta grows and
gets fully into the Chacarita neighborhood
, when crossing the San Martín train track on the other side, a line that separates two neighborhoods with strong soccer pike.
The agreement, signed by the club and the State Assets Administration Agency, grants the bohemians a permit to use the low street sectors located between Otero and Iturri streets.

The purpose of this permit is, according to what was reported by Atlanta, to create
a sports and social integration space
there "that makes room for the sports and inclusion demand that the community has."
In that place, the construction of "different sectors of multiple uses is planned, which will include
basketball courts, volleyball courts, children's soccer, buffet, toilets, and other facilities
," the institution reported.
The document signed in the AABE also grants permission to Atlanta for the use of the sectors of a property owned by the National State, in the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Transportation - SE Railway Infrastructure Administration, including one of them in the area of the San Martín branch road , between Villa Crespo and La Paternal stations, between Av. Dorrego and Iturri street, and another in the square of the Villa Crespo station (formerly called Chacarita), in Commune 15 of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

The approximate area of all these lands is
two thousand five hundred and fifty-nine square meters
(2,559 m2).
The signatures that endorsed the agreement were those of Eduardo Albanese (President of AABE) and Matias Federici (Director of Community Affairs of AABE), both on behalf of the National State.
While for Atlanta President Gabriel Greco put his signature, accompanied by directors Pablo Bermúdez, Pablo Lachener and partner Juan Manuel Suarez.
Atlanta has grown exponentially since the end of the 2000s and has become, since the recovery of its headquarters located on Humboldt Street, a space for family use in an area of high population density.

The national and Buenos Aires governments signed an agreement this Wednesday for 11 million-dollar land that had been ceded in 2019 to the City of Buenos Aires and will finally remain in the orbit of the Nation.
The process for the recovery of the 86.7 hectares had been initiated by Alberto Fernández, when he instructed the State Assets Administration Agency (AABE) in 2020 to initiate legal proceedings against the administration of Horacio Rodríguez Larreta.
This is one of the fronts opened by the current President against the management of the head of the Buenos Aires Government, in parallel to the discussion for the co-participation amounts.

The properties had been ceded during the presidency of Mauricio Macri to complete the payment of an international loan signed by the national government to finance part of the construction of the Paseo del Bajo.
The Nation transferred that debt to the City, but also the land for it to sell and pay for.
But that transfer never materialized, because the Nation, already with Alberto Fernández in the presidency, stopped the transfers to the City.
This Wednesday, finally, the agreement to return the properties to the national sphere was signed by the Minister of Public Works of the Nation, Gabriel Katopodis;
by the president of AABE, Eduardo Albanese;
and by the Minister of Treasury and Finance of the City, Martín Mura.
The Ministry of the Interior and the Vice Chief of Staff also participated in the negotiations.
Among the City's land that returned to the Nation's sphere are eight buildings located in the Mugica neighborhood and its surroundings;
the Mercado de Hacienda, bounded by Directory avenue, Murgiondo street and Eva Perón and Lisandro de la Torre avenues;
one located on Jerónimo Salguero street between Au.
