Dozens of bereaved parents and siblings demonstrated today (Thursday) against the legal revolution in front of the Kirya in Tel Aviv.

Gabriela Zimmerman, from the village of Monesh in Emek Hefer, who lost her son Amir at the Erez checkpoint in 2004, said in a conversation with Walla: "I came because the country is so important to me and was so important to Amir. I am only doing this because of the terrible situation we have reached."

"It's hard to wave the flag as a bereaved mother, I try to live life like everyone else, but I have no choice. I feel like I'm on the edge of the abyss, one more slight push and we fall into an abyss from which we will not rise. This is not why Amir fell, not for a ruined country," said Gabriela .

Amir's bereaved father, Eliezer, said: "It is absurd that my son is selling us for his seat and freedom. Amir sold his soul for the country of all of us, ultra-Orthodox, religious,

and where is Amir?"

The bereaved families who came to protest waved signs that read: "A 20-year-old in permanent confinement", "In their death they commanded us democracy", "I am the orphaned son of a fighter pilot in the Air Force. A traitorous anarchist, a fallen man. Proud to stand here in his place", "My younger brother Yehuda , do you hear? Do you know? It's better that you don't know and hear that the country that was killed for its sake is being destroyed."

Today, protesters against the legal revolution blocked major roads throughout the country.

Several protesters were arrested, and an 80-year-old protester was attacked, the suspect was arrested.

At the same time, posters that "describe" what Israel will look like were hung in Rishon Lezion.

For example, a poster was hung on one of the supermarkets that read "separate carts for meat and milk", on a bus stop it was written "men in front, women in the back", and on ATMs it was written "withdrawal ceiling - NIS 200 per day".
