The mummified body of a 90-year-old woman was discovered by the carabinieri sealed in a chest in an apartment in Paderno Dugnano (Milan), during an inspection following the death at home of her daughter, which occurred three days ago.
According to what emerged, the 64-year-old woman would have kept it to continue collecting her pension.
The carabinieri of the Sesto San Giovanni Company (Milan) searched the home of the 64-year-old woman found dead in her home in Paderno Dugnano (Milan), whose causes of death will be investigated, because her neighbors have informed them of the presence of the elderly mother hospitalized in an unspecified RSA.
In an attempt to find the documents with the indications for identifying the ninety-year-old, the carabinieri opened a chest sealed with scotch tape, finding a completely mummified corpse inside.
Both bodies were transported to the forensic medicine office for autopsy and forensic investigations, arranged by the Monza prosecutor's office.
Further investigations by the Carabinieri did not result in any communication on the death of the elderly woman, who was still regularly receiving her pension, still credited to the current account in her name, to which her daughter, without other sources of income or support, had access.
