About 300 demonstrators made their way tonight (Thursday) to Bnei Brak, to protest against the government's plan to weaken the justice system, with thousands expected to participate in the protest.
The organizers of the protest gave them helmets, while the residents of the city opened a "refreshments and drinks for our Tel Aviv brothers" stand.
The organizers of the protest issued a statement in which they clarified: "We are not against the public, but come to make it clear to the leadership that threatens us with coercion under the auspices of the coup that we too have red lines."
They added that "the ultra-Orthodox leadership is leading the legislation that will destroy the Israeli economy, the people's army and lead to a deep rift in the nation. They must immediately stop the dangerous legislation, announce that they will not give their hand to the home-destroying legislation."

Vigilance has been registered since yesterday in the city in preparation for the intention of the protest organizers to demonstrate on the spot.
The residents of the city, including senior members of the political system, criticized the protesters' intention to come to the city and called not to confront them.
"I call on all the residents and members of the ultra-orthodox sector not to treat the protesters, not to come into confrontations with them and not to play into their hands, this is forbidden. And alongside this call, I wonder why they are suddenly holding a demonstration in Bnei Brak? What are the residents of Bnei Brak guilty of and what do they want from them?" Said MK Moshe Gafni, one of the leaders of Torah Judaism and a resident of the city, in a conversation with Walla!.

The goal is clear, they are trying to drag the ultra-Orthodox sector into this protest because our community is easier to slander than Simcha Rothman or Yariv Levin," Gafni added.
Rabbi Gershon Edelstein, 98, one of the leaders of the ultra-Orthodox community, last night issued an instruction to yeshiva voters not to participate in demonstrations and not to confront the demonstrators.
The announcement reads: "As recently people have arisen who are far from our understanding of the Torah and the fulfillment of its mitzvahs, in matters of matzah and quarreling over the occupants of the tent of the holy yeshiva students who are the sustainers of the world, we are calling on all the dear yeshiva students to stay away from them and their multitudes and not to enter into discussions with them under any circumstances, and God forbid to go out into the street of a city and participate in any demonstration."

On the other hand, the organizers of the protest continue to stick to their position to reach Bnei Brak and issued a statement on the matter.
"In the Constitution Committee, Member of Knesset Pindros (Torah Judaism) led the discussion on bullying and carried out a hijacking that will allow the government to continue galloping towards the dictatorship. We will recall that the man recently stated that he 'dreams of blowing up the Supreme Court,'" they wrote in the announcement.
They personally attacked MK Gafni. "This is not an accidental event.
In recent weeks, ultra-orthodox Knesset members have been at the forefront of the coup d'état, no less than Rothman and Melvin.

The leaders of the protest claimed that the leaders of the ultra-orthodox sector had declared war on them and therefore they intend to come to Bnei Brak.
