Nigerian Senator Ike Ekweremadu was found guilty in a London court on Thursday of attempting to remove a kidney from a young man in order to have it transplanted to his daughter.
In addition to the senator, his wife and a doctor who acted as an intermediary were also convicted of conspiring to take the young man, from Lagos, to the United Kingdom to remove his kidney.
