The Supreme Emergency Committee of the Security Prisoners announced last night (Wednesday) the end of the hunger strike, after it claimed to have reached agreements with the prison service in the last day.

According to the committee, one of the agreements was the suspension of the sanctions imposed on the six security prisoners who announced that they started a hunger strike two days ago.

The prisoners' committee claims that there are additional benefits given to them, and we will update them later.

The Israel Security Service rejected the Palestinians' claim about the agreements as a motive for ending the strike. "The prison service has been working in recent days with the aim of thwarting the security prisoners' strike as part of its security and systemic approach," said the Israel Security Service.

In this context, the organization made sure to maintain the status quo regarding security prisoners.

It was made clear what the 'loss price' is if a strike is launched.

Any other publication on the subject is contrary to reality," they clarified.

Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir said in response: "I trust Rabbi Gondar Shebas Commissioner Kati Perry and the command staff who made it clear to me last night that no agreement was made with the terrorists in the prisons and that my policy is being implemented.

The 'price of the loss' - that the Shavas made clear to Hamas is the message I asked to convey to all prison commanders, that if there is a hunger strike, we will discuss the implementation of the Ketbi Committee, which denies the terrorists all their rights already this Ramadan."

Two days ago, the Israeli Security Service informed that six security prisoners from the "Nafha", "Katziot", "Ramon" and "Gilboa" prisons announced a hunger strike. "The prisoners who announced the hunger strike will be dealt with disciplinaryly in accordance with the orders", the prison service said. The supreme emergency committee of the Palestinian prisoners' movement claimed that 2,000 prisoners are expected to participate in a hunger strike in the near future.
