After the meeting this Friday between Horacio Rodríguez Larreta and Mauricio Macri at the Argentine Tennis Club, a meeting in which they discussed the PRO candidacies from Buenos Aires, Emmanuel Ferrario, one of the applicants
to
succeed Larreta,
announced that he is lowering his candidacy for Head of Government of Buenos Aires
: "The moment we are living requires us to put individualism and egos aside," he said in a video posted on his social networks.
"We have to listen - and do - based on what the people need, not what politics wants," said Ferrario, a leader close to the Head of Government.
Ferrario, whose candidacy had gone virtually unnoticed, explained that "we are asking politicians for three things: that we spend our time looking for solutions to their problems, that we stop fighting among ourselves, and above all that we work together."
“Because the moment we are living in requires us to put individualism
and egos
aside .
May we be responsible in the face of the climate of uncertainty, ”he added.
"That's why today I start and make this decision not to go ahead with my candidacy," he said.
“I am going to continue working, with more desire than ever so that whoever is the best candidate in our space is the next head of government.
And so that we take care of everything we achieve in the City and bet that our future here is much better", concluded Ferrario, who began his career as a Buenos Aires official, then went to the Buenos Aires government at the hands of María Eugenia Vidal and who
was
finally elected Buenos Aires legislator.
