You may have heard of Jonathan Margi, and perhaps you know that he was chosen to lead the makeup campaign of IL MAKIAGE together with Eden Pines.
Margi, who is known for his bold fashion choices, was chosen to be the first man in Israel to promote a major makeup campaign, which is amazing.
Margi himself says that he is proud to be a part of this campaign: "The possibility to express oneself without inhibitions and allow each and every one to express themselves to the maximum is exactly the connection I was looking for and the values I stand behind."
Well, us too.
That's why we asked Adir Mizrahi, artist of illusions, transformation diva and one of the biggest beauty influencers in Israel, to take part in SHEEE's No Makeup Makeup project, and this time - for men.
Not for men who want to "express themselves" or necessarily make art, but for men who want to beautify themselves for a job interview, a date, or just sitting with themselves in their favorite cafe.
Why?
Like this, because the time has come for men to also be able to put concealer on the dark circles under the eyes to feel that they look less tired, emphasize their cheekbones to look more chiseled, and complete eyebrow deficiencies to look more closed about their lives.
There is no reason in the world that men should not enjoy the benefits of the beauty world just like us.

Adir Mizrahi points out that in the world men have long since started wearing make-up, but in Israel we are not there yet: "Among my friends it still doesn't exist too much, in the world it is already commonplace"
What kind of look do we do?
"I like to create a tanned and fresh look" says Adir "so we'll start with a concealer to blur redness or darkness - we'll put it in strategic places and blur it with a wide brush or sponge."
Important tip:
"Don't put the concealer directly on the face, it is recommended to apply it a little on the hand, and with the help of a small brush apply only where we need it. We are not interested in crazy coverage."
"The toning of the face will be done with a product called contour."

"The facial toning (contour) will be done with a product that is used for shading. When used correctly, it can sharpen the male facial features. We will put it on the cheekbones and the jaw line. I use FENTY Beauty's contour, but there are many types and a variety of shades. Many people get confused between contour and bronzer, tz Unlike a contour that simulates a shadow, bronzer comes in warm tones and is placed on the more prominent areas of the face - those where the sun touches."

What make-up do you use?
"In most cases we would not want to use make-up, only in cases where there are a lot of flaws to hide and even then we would like to use light make-up or a moisturizing cream with pigment."

Eyebrows
"Thickening the eyebrows or filling in the sparse parts of the eyebrows can be done in a variety of ways, the most effective way for every day is to use an eyebrow marker. I use an Anastasia Beverly Hills marker, but every makeup brand has a whole section of eyebrow products aimed at thickening and filling in the eyebrows."
Lips
"On my lips I apply a lip mask, the kind you apply at night, I like to use it during the day as well, it doesn't absorb but it doesn't stay like lipstick either.

Powder
"A lot of people like to load the face with powder, but the more powder we use, the more we emphasize the appearance of the flaws. I recommend putting powder only on places where we applied wet material, and do it by patting a wide brush on the wet areas with a minimum of material."
